Two rappers and two separate incidents resulted in the arrest of Lil Wayne and Ja Rule. Both charged will illegal weapon possession.
On July 22, Dwayne Carter (Lil Wayne) was pulled over and found to be smoking marijuana. After taking him into custody the police found a .40 calibre pistol.
On the other side of New York about an hour earlier, the same type of gun was found on Ja Rule after he pulled over for speeding?
Coincidence?
This should be a cool duo — two amazing artists side-by-side. Hmmm….doubt you’dd see their tongues touch like Madonna did with Briney and Christina! LOL!
The song they will sing together will be recorded for a charity song that Annie Lennox wrote.
Also performing for this will be Joss Stone, Celine Dion, Dido, Shakira and other talented singers. The album’s is expected to be released in October.

This new single comes from her new album called Volta which is her 6th album. Her last album, Medulla, was released back in 2004. Hard to believe that it has already been 3 years since we have heard something new from Bjork. Looking forward to this one.
The new album will have 10 new songs all written and produced by Bjork except for a few that we co-produced by Timbaland.
This is going to be another great release for this year!

The Brixton Academy will have the band headline on September 14th. This is after two already very successful shows in the UK including the Download Festival.
The band has seen successes this year including selling over 1,000,000 ‘A Beautiful Lie’ albums in the US and a few top 10 hit - The Kill (went to #3) and From Yesterday (went to #1).

New York’s Interpol is seeing some awesome success! Their latest major label album has soared to the #4 spot in this week’s Billboard Top 200. Interpol has already seen success with their other two albums, but I would say that this is quite a success indeed.
They are kicking off their tour today in Rochester, NY at Madison Square Garden and will end at the V Festival on August 5th. Then it is off to Japan, Australia, Europe and then Toronto Canada.
This band is going to be busy for awhile!
