The Brixton Academy will have the band headline on September 14th. This is after two already very successful shows in the UK including the Download Festival.
The band has seen successes this year including selling over 1,000,000 ‘A Beautiful Lie’ albums in the US and a few top 10 hit - The Kill (went to #3) and From Yesterday (went to #1).

New York’s Interpol is seeing some awesome success! Their latest major label album has soared to the #4 spot in this week’s Billboard Top 200. Interpol has already seen success with their other two albums, but I would say that this is quite a success indeed.
They are kicking off their tour today in Rochester, NY at Madison Square Garden and will end at the V Festival on August 5th. Then it is off to Japan, Australia, Europe and then Toronto Canada.
This band is going to be busy for awhile!
I heard this a little while back and am finally blogging about it. Seems like Tom, Zack and the rest of the gang are getting together on stage again. All I can say is YES! I was so sad when Rage Against The Machine first broke up after Zack De La Rocha left seven years ago.
According to LiveDaily, the reunion was originally only supposed to be for four shows but apparently may he lengthened for even more gigs like the Vegoose festival in October.

Looks like Maroon Five has reason to celebrate. Their second album “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long” recently earned platinum status which means that they have sold 1,000,000 copies. No small feat and something definitely to be proud of. Pretty crazy, they actually sold almost half the amount needed to be considered a platinum record in less than one week after it was released. I hope I can accomplish this someday!
